This is my third year as a VPA student in skyline high school, I have started to find my passion in art which I have been into for so long and that is portraits, I love to sustain a picture that can tell a story, or a piece that represents my culture as a hispanic. This year has been very busy in terms of making art but it has also taught me many amazing things in making an amazing piece. Earlier this year I was lucky enough to travel to Paris, Spain, and Portugal, I happened to take some amazing pictures there. This trip was perfect for me in terms of art because it opened my eyes and gave me so much inspiration on what to do for my art. I started to expand not only my portraitism but started to work on crazier pieces such as my nun piece which I got inspiration from when I saw the movie. Followed by more shoe pieces that represent my passion for sneakers, I am a huge sneaker enthusiast and I specialize in restoring sneakers and collecting 1990's kicks which I then keep and sell. So having work that shows my life in terms of sneakers satisfies me. I also love creating pictures of my nephew/niece considering I always go to visit them and they are a huge part of my life. Overall junior year was a hectic year but this is where my passion on art starts to take toll on my life.
